National Gallery of Denmark – InsightART scanned with the Conservation Department
We are very proud that we have had the pleasure of cooperating with the Conservation Department of the National Gallery of Denmark . For almost a week, InsightART’s robotic scanner RToo was stationed in the National Gallery of Denmark where we scanned some of the works in their terrific collection. The collection holds more than 260,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings from Denmark and abroad, dating from the fourteenth century to the present day. Of course, we only stayed a short time and so we got to analyze just a couple of these works. Nonetheless this was a great experience for RToo and for our team, we learnt a lot and we created some great images of the artworks we x-rayed.
